Places to Explore
Southwell is often refered to as the jewel in Nottinghamshire’s crown. It is one of the prettiest towns and is home to the stunning Southwell Minster, a magnificent cathedral and is a stone’s throw away from the high street; the historic center of the town, with a mix of independent shops, café’s, bars and restaurants. The Minster is famous for it’s two lead-capped spired, known locally as the pepper-pot spires.
Nearby is the Archbishop’s Palace and Gardens, which is well worth exploring.
